Ochre Health engaged Hot Mustard to develop an authentic Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) document and brand that would clearly express the organisation’s commitment to reconciliation while also reflecting its values through meaningful First Nations’ symbolism.

Working in collaboration with artist Meleisa Cox, a proud Wiradjuri woman from the Bathurst area of NSW, we created a distinctive visual identity grounded in Ochre’s core values of Care, Integrity, Innovation, Community-Mindedness and Empowerment. At the same time, we ensured cultural integrity and authenticity throughout the design process.

The resulting artwork system was designed to function as a flexible visual language that could be applied consistently across a wide range of internal and external communication channels, highlighting Ochre’s commitment to reconciliation throughout its national network of 70 medical centres and urgent care clinics as well as its engagement with industry stakeholders.

To support long-term adoption and consistency, we delivered a comprehensive brand asset toolkit including partnership logo lockups, colour palette, visual language elements and detailed brand guidelines. This provided Ochre with the key elements and the confidence to implement the reconciliation brand effectively across digital platforms, documentation, physical environments and merchandise.
