Volunteering Australia engaged Hot Mustard to develop a new brand and website for its Volunteering Resource Hub (VRH) initiative – an easily-navigated national online repository of information, tools and and resources for volunteer management professionals.
The collaborative design involved liaising and working with key stakeholders from all seven states and territories, as well as website development agency Lava Lizard.
Hot Mustard’s brief was to develop an impactful brand look for the VRH which is professional, trustworthy and very accessible. The logo emblem we developed is based on the “V” of the Volunteering Australia logo, but fans out as a dynamic book which represents the knowledge and resource guides available in the Hub. The website design is user-friendly, functional, compliant with accessibility requirements and fully responsive (working seamlessly across mobile, tablet and desktop). We also developed and delivered a brand asset toolbox including logo variations, a new image library and a comprehensive set of icons to support the site’s brand applications and evolving information delivery mandate.
